Community Hangars:

The West Houston Airport's community hangars are located on the west side of the Airport within a gated accessed area patrolled by Airport security personnel. The hangars are accessible 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Airport provides 24 hour in/out service either in front of the hangar or to the terminal building for a monthly or per request charge. All the hangars have water, electricity and restroom facilities.

T-Hangars:

The West Houston Airport has 60 T-Hangar units. The T-Hangars are accessible on the east side of the Airport through a gated access, and the area is patrolled by Airport security personnel. The hangars are accessible 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The hangars have electricity, and a wash area is located in proximity to the T-Hangars. Each T-Hangar is approximately 40' wide by 38' deep and can accommodate most general aviation airplanes. Restroom is in east side of green T-Hanger. In/out service is optional and may be requested monthly or per request.

T-Covers:

The West Houston Airport has 64 T-Covers. The T-Covers are accessible on the east side of the Airport through a gated access, and the area is patrolled by Airport security personnel. The T-Covers are accessible 24/7/365. The T-Covers have electricity and a lockable cabinet for each tenant's use. There is a wash area located in proximity to the T-Covers. Row A of the T-Covers will accept an airplane tail height of 16 feet. Rows B, C, and D will accept up to a 12 foot tail height. The maximum wing span that can be accommodated is approximately 50 feet. The area is lighted, and restrooms are available in the white hangar at the entryway to the east side. Chain Tie-Downs are supplied. The Airport is NOT responsible for damage resulting from the use of owner supplied ropes. In/out service is available at an extra charge by the month or per request.

Tie-Downs:

The West Houston Airport has paved Tie-Downs available on the east side of the Airport. The area is accessible through a gated access and is patrolled by Airport security personnel. The Tie-Downs are accessible 24/7/365. There is a wash area in proximity to the Tie-Downs. Chain Tie-Downs are supplied. The Airport is NOT responsible for damages resulting from the use of owner supplied ropes. In/out service is available at an extra charge by the month or per request.

Commercial Aviation Business Hangars:

The West Houston Airport has three large community hangars located on the east side of the Airport used for commercial services to the Airport's patrons and transients. The hangars are normally accessible Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM through 5:00 PM for service related requirements of plane owners. Aviation businesses include maintenance facilities, avionics repairs and sales, and an aircraft interior shop.

Non-Commercial Aviation Hangars:

The West Houston Airport developed a subdivision of hangar lots adjacent to the Airport facility on its west side, where private hangars have been built and are used for dedicated non-commercial aviation purposes but may include within the hangar a business, residence and/or storage area. Some of these community hangars have space available for rent to non-commercial aircraft owners. See the current Airport newsletter for information regarding rentals.

Note: The West Houston Airport does NOT allow tenants to dispose of oil or distillates on the Airport property. Owners must dispose of waste oil where the oil is purchased or through arrangements with waste oil storage and/or reclamation businesses. Airport rental rates are subject to change. Availability is on a first-come basis. The West Houston Airport patrons are subject to the Rules and Regulations and policies and directives. The Airport reserves the exclusive right to grant or deny concessions to commercial enterprises doing business on the Airport. Contact the Airport Manager for further information.
