Woody Lesikar has headed up the GA Aircraft Sales at West Houston Airport (IWS) since 1967, the oldest such firm in the Houston area with over 2,000 aircraft sold to date.

Woody, who specializes in buying and selling aircraft from the offices and hangars at IWS, is a licensed A&P Mechanic and ATP Pilot with thousands of hours flying everything from Tailwheels to Jets, and has specialized in Cessna, Beech, Mooney and other lines of aircraft since he started at West Houston.

Woody has the experience, knowledge and contacts to sell your plane for the maximum market value consistent with economic conditions. His specialty is in General Aviation planes from Cessna 172s to Cessna Citations as well as other makes and models. Because of the complexities of advertising and brokering aircraft located at other airports around the country, the Company brokers only in stock, on the airport planes. The Company also provides and or oversees such services as hangaring, upholstery, paint, detailing and repairs. The Company has a master fleet insurance policy available to aircraft owners while their aircraft is being sold.

In addition, the Company offers the advantage of locating the right aircraft for your needs. Such things as budget, range required, number of passengers and cost of operation are analyzed to determine applicability to your business or personal use. Consulting services include explanation of tax ramifications, IRS Code information, aircraft documentation, state and local tax issues, financing, insurance and other useful tools regarding purchasing your plane. Of course, consulting and verifying with your professional advisor is always appropriate.
